Devon-based wedding photographer photographer Martyn Norsworthy has won gold and bronze in PX-3 Prix de la Paris International Photography Awards.
The photographer, whose style fits into the fine art genre, took first and third place in the Wedding Category of the PX-3 - People’s Choice Awards.
Having won seven Honourable Mentions in the PX-3 earlier this year, the entries are put forward for the People’s Choice Awards, where members of the public from all around the globe have the chance to vote for their favourites.
Martyn says he is overjoyed with these results: "The People’s Choice means a lot as it’s from the best judges, the public who in turn would be the people commissioning me.”
Martyn is a well-known South West wedding photographer who operates from a studio in Kingsbridge, Devon. We recently reported on his bridal work here, which is becoming widely recognised. He also works as a portrait and commercial photographer.
Both of the award-winning photos were taken in Devon: The Cliff Top Bride at Bolberry Downs near Kingsbridge and Night Time Walk taken at Muddifords Court near Cullompton.
The Prix de la Photographie, Paris (Px3), which was founded in 2007, works to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.
