The wedding cake of your dreams could be designed at the click of a button it seems, as the Canvas Factory has launched an online cake builder tool that allows couples to try out creative cake options for their big day.

The wedding cake builder lets budding bakers select the shape, size, number of tiers, edges, colour scheme and type of decoration for their cake, to help couples try out different designs before the event.

Eli Jenkins of Canvas Factory, said: "There are so many styles of wedding cakes to choose from these days it's hard to even know where to begin, so the team at Canvas Factory have come up with a solution.

From panelled strips, brushed embroidery and stencilled patterns, to hand painted decoration and oriental stringwork, there are numerous ways to create your cake vision. Try out alternative colours, cake toppers and pearl, hessian and lace ribbons, without having to leave your desk.
