Tips on choosing your wedding transport
There’s a whole lot of options so you can arrive in style on your big day
If you really want to make a grand entrance to your wedding, how about looking for a way to arrive in unique style?
A limousine might be traditional – but there are plenty of other options out there.
It’s a chance for the bridal and groom to show off something about their personalities.
Choosing a mode of transport which is uniquely “yours” will also be something to get the guests talking.
Many happy couples love a retro look – vintage cars, even VW camper vans or a red London Routemaster bus.
For the more adventurous a Romany style caravan is wonderfully romantic and resounds with the look of an unfettered life on the road together.
Scooters and bicycles – maybe even a tandem if you are totally instep with one another can all cause a stir.
If your wedding is by the side of a river or canal a boat is an obvious option – and if it’s by the sea a yacht would be a truly memorable mode of transport in which to arrive.
Then there is the get-away.
Vintage cars can look great, especially with a “Just Married” sign on the back and a pair of bicycles are a really fun option – and a horse and carriage can ensure you both trot off happily into the sunset.
