Country House Weddings acquires Holmewood Hall

03 Sep 2018

Introducing a fifth wedding venue to its portfolio, Country House Weddings has announced its acquisition of Holmewood Hall in Peterborough

Folllowing the first phase of renovations, Holmewood Hall in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire is now opening its doors to wedding couples as a Country House Weddings venue.

With further details yet to be released, couples can expect exclusive access to the venue, sit-down dining facilities for more than 70 guests, and a selection of evening reception spaces for up to 150 evening guests.

Holmewood Hall presents a host of ornate and historical features including an 18 carat gold leaf ceiling, as well as 10 acres of sweeping grounds and 16 luxury bedrooms.

Marketing director of Country House Weddings, Nick Bramer, says: “This is a great step forward for the company, ensuring that an even greater majority of engaged couples that live in the South of England will be living within a stones’ throw of one of our beautiful venues.

"Furthermore, while being a fledgling venue," Nick continues, "it will be able to draw upon the substantial resources, reputation and more than 25 years of experience that Country House Weddings can offer, allowing it to create perfect weddings from the off.”

Sales director Laura Styles comments: “This is an extremely exciting step in the evolution of Country House Weddings. It opens up a completely new calendar allowing us to offer dream weddings to an entirely new collection of couples. We simply cannot wait to get the doors open and enjoy offering viewing tours."
