Could you be Debenhams 2018 Bride of the Year? Win £20,000 towards your wedding

17 Jan 2018

Debenhams is scouring the country to find its 2018 Bride of the Year, with a £20,000 wedding package up for grabs

Open to all betrothed couples, Debenhams is on the search for its 2018 Bride of the Year who will win a prize worth £20,000.

One lucky winner will scoop a package which includes a bridal gown, bridesmaids' dresses, suits, lingerie, jewellery, cake, honeymoon and even luggage.

Christine Morgan at Debenhams said: “Our annual search for a fabulous couple has become a highlight of the year. Last year we had more than 45,000 entries and were delighted to see that love is in abundance in the UK. We can’t wait to see what this year has in store.”

Last year’s winner was Tyne and Wear based bride, Amy Bardwell. Amy and her fiancé, Nathan McColgan will be tying the knot on Saturday 24th March before flying off to Dubai, Maldives and Sri Lanka for a honeymoon of a lifetime.

Amy said: “I never in the world thought I would win this prize. To get the email saying we had won was amazing. It’s been such an amazing experience through Debenhams, and to be given the chance to have the wedding of our dreams. I would definitely encourage anyone getting married to enter, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
