Confetti & Lace on the catwalk and our screens

Leeds’ based Confetti and Lace will be showcasing some of their beautiful bridal gowns on the catwalk at The Harrogate Wedding Show this weekend, 23rd-24th February, ahead of a television programme following their business

Leeds based bridal boutique Confetti and Lace are no strangers to the limelight. They have already appeared on BBC Three’s ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ and now have an ITV programme ‘The Wedding Shop’ dedicated to them on Thursday 28th February at 9pm.

The hour long show follows three Confetti and Lace brides over nine months, as well as showing a look behind the scenes into modern weddings and the life and times of a bridal boutique.

The new ITV show comes a matter of days after Confetti and Lace’s beautiful bridal gowns will be showcased on the catwalk at WeddingLink’s Wedding Show at the Pavilions of Harrogate, which features more than 100 local bridal businesses from bridal boutiques to cakemakers, photographers and venues. There will also be an entertainer or two on hand in the Wharf Suite, providing inspiration for entertaining ideas for your own dream day.

Confetti and Lace opened originally in 1992 in Farsley before being taken over by Abbi Lewis and moving to bigger premises in Pudsey in 2005. Over the years the shop has expanded and two further bridal boutiques, Brides of Harrogate and Abigail’s Bridal Boutique in Leeds city centre have been opened, as well as expanding into groomswear with Yorkshire Menswear.

A member of the RBA (Retail Bridalwear Association), the bridal industry equivalent of the holiday industry’s ABTA, the team have also won a number of bridal industry awards and nominations for outstanding customer service and their boutiques. With labels including Alfred Angelo, Benjamin Roberts Tia, Ellis Bridals, Enzoani, Impression Bridal, Mori Lee and White Rose Bridal there is sure to be a beautiful gown for any bride, whatever her style.

With just days to go, we at WeddingLink know that our catwalk show, which features Confetti and Lace among a host of other bridal boutiques and grooomswear specialists will be sensational. You definitely don’t want to miss it or the chance to speak to all our bridal industry professionals in person.

Individual tickets cost £5 in advance and £7.50 on the day with group discounts available (£3.75 per person, minimum of 4 adults in advance only) and every bride will be given a copy of the latest issue of Yorkshire BRIDE, published by WeddingLink.
