As part of a £2 million restoration project, Combermere Abbey has unveiled an all new bridal and honeymoon suite, named 'The Salamanca'.
The master bedroom houses a king sized bed, half canopied tester with silk brocade drapes, amidst a soothing colour palette of blues. Original artwork by Peter Beckett adorns the bedroom walls and a stunning Gothic picture window delivers spectacular views in the adjoining en suite.
Cementing the exclusive status of this destination wedding venue, 'The Salamanca' is situated in the North Wing - a collection of rooms designed by world-renowned interior designer, Nina Campbell, and set across two floors.
Utmost privacy and seclusion is promoted by the North Wing, which offers its own dedicated entrance, elevated terrace overlooking the Italian-style knot garden and Tudor study.
Sarah Callander Beckett, owner of Combermere Abbey, said: “It is a huge pleasure to be able to invite couples to stay in The Abbey’s North Wing in this wonderfully romantic suite of rooms.
"We are overjoyed with the renovation and what the fabric of the Abbey’s past has revealed to us, and so in many ways it’s fitting to share this very special place with our newly married couples. It will certainly make for a memorable first night and a sense of occasion.”
