Choose your hair and make-up artist wisely
Nina Wren specialises in ‘hair up’ and has styled the hair of countless brides - a firm believer in the classic hair do, that can be brought up to date with a modern twist.
Choose a handful of hair and make-up artists whose pictures you like either from websites or magazines then ask as many questions as possible... Do they have a recognised qualification, at least to level 2? Have they got much experience in Bridal hair and make-up? Prices, if they are much cheaper than others, why? What products do they use? Are the images they use in their literature ones they have done themselves? Make sure the person you speak to is qualified to advise you, not just a receptionist. They should make you feel confident and relaxed when you call.
Get what you want
Let your chosen hair and make-up artist guide you, after all that’s what they know but make sure you let them know what look you prefer, have pictures as a reference, don’t be afraid of offending if you want to change something and remember you need to feel comfortable, it’s a long day!
Enjoy it
It’s your wedding and you are paying for the best, enjoy the experience. If you choose the right people it should be a relaxed and calm atmosphere with outstanding results tailored to your very individual needs.
It’s going to be the best day of your life… You will be the perfect bride.
