Cheshire hotel wins ‘Residential Hotel of the Year’

Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Nantwich, Cheshire, has been selected as the top residential spa in the UK for hotels with 10 treatment rooms or fewer at the Professional Beauty Awards at a glittering ceremony in London.

The awards, hosted by TV presenter Claudia Winkleman, was attended by over 850 industry professionals. Spa Manager, Lisa McDonald, was thrilled to accept the award on behalf of the team at the hotel, part of the Hand Picked Hotels collection of 17 country house hotels across the UK.

Stephen Fearnley, General Manager, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, said: ‘We are delighted to have won such a coveted industry award. This accolade is a culmination of five years of hard work by the whole team at Rookery Hall to create a wonderful residential spa experience for our guests. The award confirms our belief that our Spa really is the venue of choice in the UK and a great boost to the Hotel during an already successful year, with the hotel chosen as Best Hotel Restaurant in the Nantwich Dining Out Awards and selected as 2012 Hotel of the Year by Hand Picked Hotels.’

The Spa, awarded the prestigious five bubble award by the Good Spa Guide for the last three years, is set in a converted stable block offering eight treatment rooms, a relaxation room, glass roofed 17m indoor swimming pool, fully-equipped gym and Café Bar. The hotel is just 15 minutes away from the M6 and within easy reach of Chester, Manchester, Liverpool and Crewe station, just five miles from the Hotel, which connects via high-speed train to London and Manchester.
