Charlie Brear celebrates female strength with 2019 Collection

15 May 2018

Available from stockists from summer 2018, the Charlie Brear 'Day for Night' Mainline Collection Spring 2019 takes the brand back to its roots with signature styling additions

British bridal designer Charlie Brear fuses contemporary cool with a timeless aesthetic in the 'Day for Night' collection which draws inspiration from the 1970s French film of the same name.

Championing women with a strong sense of self, the ultra-feminine silhouettes depict clean lines which promote flow and movement, exemplified in draped gowns, billowing sleeves and chiffon fabrics. Deep V-necklines and intricate embroidery also characterise the collection, with jackets and wraps adding a new dimension.

Traditional ivories and creams cater to the conventional bride, while soft and subtle colours make an appearance in a palette that toys with blush pinks, pastel blues and metallic pops.

A highlight of the collection is the fluid pale pink silk dress which bears an understated tonal print and can be complemented with a striking rose gold metallic leather cape. For brides looking to make a wedding statement, this piece will undoubtedly turn heads.

The 2019 Collection will be available to view at the Charlie Brear London studio and across all stockists from summer 2018. Gown prices range from £1,500 - £3,500. Take a closer look at the collection in the gallery above and for more information, visit www.charliebrear.com.
