The wedding of Francesca Stewart and Benjamin Willis at South Farm in Shingay cum Wendy was a day to be remembered.
Yet unbeknownst to her guests, bride Francesca was hiding an unfortunate facial injury sustained a few days before the wedding.
Francesca recalls: "I was holding my phone above my head while lying in bed, to try and get some signal and ended up dropping it on my face, which resulted in me having a black eye on the big day."
However, Francesca had two trusted individuals on hand to help her cover up the bruising: "Luckily my make-up artist did a great job of covering it up and one of our friends who is also a make-up artist kept topping it up throughout the evening."
The photographs from the day were picture perfect, capturing all the dazzling wedding details and Francesca who looked nothing but beautiful in a bridal ensemble from Heritage Brides in Hertfordshire.
