A colourful wedding can be captivating for many reasons and if you're a couple with a vibrant personality, then there's no better way to express yourselves than through your wedding colour scheme. Bright and beautiful venue styling can be chosen whatever the season; it's all about the colour combinations you pick. Here are just some ideas with which you can capture a vivid colour scheme on your special day.
Wedding tables
From bold and beautiful blooms to an arrangement of jewelled jars set atop rainbow-coloured runners or block coloured tablecloths, your wedding tables are an easy way to add colour. Beautiful charger plates adorned with decorative fruit and berries will make spectacular place settings; inject further colour with name cards and favours, carefully considering how all the colours will tie together. Chair covers and sashes should also be given some thought.

Ceiling décor
Suspended parasols and paper lanterns look sensational in every kind of setting - from blank canvas marquees to rustic barns with wooden beams. Strings of bunting, dangling ribbons, supersize balloons and floating flower arrangements can look truly impactful with minimal effort required.

Focal features and dazzling details
Bright wedding flower displays in and around the venue will continue the colour scheme throughout - consider a flower wall, floral hoops and milk churns sprouting the joys of nature. A May Pole bedecked with multicoloured ribbons is the perfect addition to a marquee wedding hosted in spring or summer. Add fairy lights to continue the feature when the lights go down.

Ceremony set-up
Your ceremony is the start of your wedding day, so why not take your guests' breath away at the first opportunity? Coloured seating or chair sashes and a ceremonial archway draped in ethereal voile can make a ceremony room memorable in an instant. If you're marrying in a chuch, there will be minimal decoration allowed so make good use of the areas you can get creative with. Decorate the pew ends and registry table with colourful floral displays and remember you can always transport these to your reception venue to cut down on costs and wastage.
