Constance Rose is a Norfolk-based floristry business which was crowned the Wedding Florist of the Year at the 2017 Bride: The Wedding Awards, in association with the EDP and sponsored by Marry in Norfolk. Here, owner, Jo Thomas, shares her story.
Why did you enter the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards or were you nominated?
Constance Rose was nominated.
What was your reaction to winning the award?
We were absolutely thrilled and honoured to win the award.
How has this recognition helped your business develop and grow?
2017 has been a wonderful year and we have had a great increase in our work and exciting opportunities and events to work on. 2018 is already extremely busy and we have some fantastic and exciting projects planned.
What advice would you give to a business entering the 2018 awards?
Do what you do and love doing and it will show.
Why should a couple nominate one of their wedding suppliers in the 2018 awards?
There is no greater compliment to a supplier than when a previous couple recommends you to a friend or nominates you. They are the ones who have experienced your service, attention to detail and style of work first hand, so the recognition is fantastic.
