In association with the Eastern Daily Press and sponsored by Bullens Jewellers, the largest two-day wedding show in the area featured around 150 exhibitors from across the region showcasing their products and services.
The first 100 brides through the doors on both days received goody bags containing treats from a number of the exhibitors including delicious cake samples from Claire's Custom Cakes, iced cookies from Norfolk Cake House, lip balm from Avid Diva MUA and many more.
Bride to be Kirsty Howard said: “My bridesmaids are travelling from Australia and we are handmaking our invites and centre prices. Today we are looking for dresses, suits, flowers and jewellery.”
Bride-to-be Katie Claire and her groom Callum Brown heard about the show through social media: “We are getting married on our own farm, so today we are looking for cakes, dresses, stationery, styling ideas, suits and jewellery.”
Show sponsors Bullens Jewellers showcased its latest sparkling collections of wedding bands and wedding day jewellery.
Michele Whittam, director of Bullens Jewellers, said: “We are very proud to put our name to such an exciting and professional show, which promises to deliver expert advice, stunning ideas and unlimited inspiration - it's a real honour to be the 2020 sponsors.
“We have exhibited at many local wedding shows over the last 20 years, however this show is by far the biggest and brings so many of the best local wedding suppliers together for two days.
“We love working and exhibiting alongside Norfolk-based wedding experts at a show where the Bride team are so organised and professional.
“Over the years we have noticed the quality of suppliers just keeps getting better and couples will meet the best of the best. Couples attending can get a head start on your wedding plans by talking to the best wedding professionals face-to-face all under one roof.
“Couples searching for their wedding rings can explore our extensive offering of patterns and textures featuring satin finishes, diamond cuts, engravings, crosshatching, geometric patterns, bevelling and our newly launched designs.
“We understand that finding your wedding rings is just as important as finding the perfect dress and venue, and our team will help guide you through the stages and give you suggestions to consider when buying your wedding rings.”
This year, the charity tombola raffle was dedicated to raising money for The Big C, who help to improve the lives of those affected by cancer across Norfolk. Thanks to the generous donations from our exhibitors, visitors were able to get their hands on prizes including a star prize of £500 discount on your registrar with Celebrate in Norfolk.
Speaking last year, returning exhibitor Richard Jarmy Photography said: “The show is wonderful. I have found that more couples are looking for fun, natural photography which captures their personality - long gone are the posed photographs. My top tip for couples looking for their photographer during the weekend would be to make sure you like their work and build a strong rapport with them so you feel relaxed with them on your big day.”
A highlight for many visitors was the return of the sensational choreographed catwalk show, this year featuring collections from Bullens Jewellers, Pure Grooms Suit Hire, Slater Menswear, Pure Brides, Prima Donna and La Belle Angele.
