The 2018 shows promise an even bigger and better itinerary than previous years, with a host of local suppliers already confirmed for each event – from florists and photographers to décor and dresses. Show-exclusive deals, discounts and competitions will further entice visitors, including the opportunity to win a luxury honeymoon to Mexico courtesy of Thomas Cook and AM Resorts during each show.
Visitors can pick up a complimentary copy of Bride magazine at the events to continue their wedding planning from home and an official showguide so that they are able to re-connect with the featured wedding businesses after the show.
The sensational catwalk show – considered the best in the business - is a must-see, running at various times during each day. The catwalk show will feature bridalwear, menswear, bridesmaids’ dresses and/or occasionwear from local suppliers, presented to an electric arrangement of music and choreography.
Here’s what some brides-to-be had to say about the 2017 events:
Bride: The Wedding Show at Knebworth Barns
“It’s been so good. The catwalk performances were very good and the outfits were all lovely. I didn’t expect it to be so big. I came to get ideas for dresses, cakes and flowers. The catwalk was such a good production; it was very uplifting.” Lucy Harris, Ruislip
Bride: The Wedding Show at Tatton Park, Cheshire
“I came to the show to get ideas. It was great; really well organised. The catwalk was brilliant. I actually tried on a dress for the first time, so I’ve got even more of an idea about styles now.” Jenny Appleton, Liverpool
Bride: The Wedding Show at Norfolk Showground
“It’s been brilliant. The men on the catwalk were really good. I liked Special Delivery Accessories. I got my wedding rings from Alba Rose and my sister was given a quote for her wedding rings which was £800 cheaper than what she had budgeted.” Leanne Crow, Wyndham
Bride: The Wedding Show at Ascot Racecourse
“It has been really lovely and lots of fun. It has given me lots of ideas. We saw the catwalk which was great; we got a couple of dress ideas and we spoke to the suppliers. I also signed up for the John Lewis Gift List Service.” Lucy Atter, Camberley
Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter
“It’s been good. The catwalk was fantastic. Prudence Gowns was my favourite potential supplier for my wedding dress. The DJ, Richards Time Machine, was brilliant; I wasn’t even thinking about a DJ, but now I am. I think most of my suppliers will come from this event.” Katherine Jordan, Saltash
