A traditional high street jewellers that specialises in diamond engagement, wedding and eternity rings, Aleks Jewellers has been established in Norwich for more than 40 years. Co-owner and managing director, Adrian Phillips, explains how winning Wedding Jeweller of the Year at the 2017 Bride: The Wedding Awards has helped the business thrive.

Did you enter the awards or were you nominated?

We were nominated.

What was your reaction to winning the award?

Completely astonished.

How has the award helped your business grow?

The award gives potential customers a degree of security in the knowledge that we are a serious business, we respect our customers' needs and strive to give the highest level of customer service for their special day. This ultimately leads to increased sales.

What advice would you give to a business on entering the 2018 awards?

Be honest and open about what you offer.

Why should a couple nominate their wedding suppliers?

If a couple are pleased with the service provided by a business, by nominating they will be spreading the word to future couples and giving them confidence to use the services of that particular company.
