Bride: The Wedding Awards, in association with the EDP and sponsored by Marry in Norfolk and the Norfolk Registration Service, is back for 2018.

Next year’s red carpet ceremony will be held on Thursday, 25th January at Holiday Inn, Norwich North, where the crème de la crème of the Norfolk’s wedding industry will be recognised, honoured and rewarded across 12 categories.

The 2018 edition follows the success of the awards’ sensational debut earlier this year, which saw more than 300 submissions whittled down and winners announced in a ceremony held at Dunston Hall.

Louise Flynn, owner of Lou Lou Loves which won the 2017 Wedding Newcomer of the Year award, and Innovation Award, said: “I’m just a mum who followed her dreams and as a new business winning the awards was not only a huge confidence boost personally but also a huge boost for my business. It has opened up many opportunities for me including collaboratively working on weddings with other award-winners."

Businesses can enter themselves or be nominated by their bridal customers at bridetheweddingawards.co.uk. Entries are now open and will close on Friday, 3rd November 2017, before being assessed by a judging panel of category sponsors and industry experts.

Diana Sims, sales director for the Bride portfolio, says: “We are very excited about the second edition of Bride: The Wedding Awards. Norfolk is bursting with passionate wedding suppliers and the awards provide the opportunity to reward their continued efforts while helping their business grow. The launch of the 2017 Bride: The Wedding Awards was a huge success and we look forward to seeing more entrants showcase their talent for 2018’s event.”

Caroline Clarke from Marry in Norfolk, Norfolk County Council adds: “We at Marry in Norfolk are thrilled to be sponsoring the 2018 Bride Wedding Awards. We see the tireless work of the Norfolk suppliers to make couples’ wedding wishes come true and these awards honour the professionalism, innovation and excellence that drive these businesses forward.”
