The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) and publishers and wedding show organisers Archant Bride have joined together to love, honour and reward wedding suppliers across the country.
TWIA, now in its fourth year, is the only competition that operates on a regional and national basis and where every entrant is voted for by happy newlyweds who have used their services. TWIA is open to wedding suppliers of all sizes, and covers all wedding-related services from photographers to venues, entertainers to caterers, stationers to stylists.
Shortlisted businesses in the 27 categories go through seven regional finals in November, culminating in the national awards event in London in January, 2015.
The partnership between Archant Bride and TWIA means the competition will be publicised and promoted in all regional Bride magazines and at Bride: The Wedding Show at
Westpoint Arena, Exeter, October 11–12, 2014
Sandown Racecourse, Surrey, October 25–26, 2014
Knebworth Barns, Hertfordshire, January 10–11, 2015
Tatton Park, Cheshire, January 31–February 1, 2015
Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire, March 14–14, 2015
Archant Bride will produce a special publication in association with TWIA which will be distributed nationwide to brides looking for suppliers acknowledged as the best in the industry by newlyweds and wedding experts.
Archant Bride editorial director Joanne Goodwin, editor Amanda Griffiths and weddingsite.co.uk managing director Pettrina Keogh will be on the judging panel.

Founder and chairman of the judging panel, Damian Bailey, says: “We are delighted to be working with Archant Bride. Having a media partner withan incredibly strong regional foothold across all platforms will enable us to deliver so much more to wedding suppliers and brides and grooms alike.”
Joanne Goodwin, of Bride, says: “Weddings are all about good relationships – including those with the many suppliers who make a wedding day perfect. We honour these wedding industry professionals, the majority of them independent local businesses, in our magazines, at our shows and on our website and now we are working with The Wedding Industry Awards – the best in the business – to make sure they receive regional and national publicity and lots more inquiries from bride-to-be because of their excellence.”
