Bridal Inspiration - The 1920's

The main inspiration for our shoot came from the 1920s. We wanted to show how this era can be a great source of inspiration, whether you want a glamorous wedding with candelabras and pearls or vintage bits and bobs. Whatever your taste, the 1920s theme can be adapted to it.
Vintage has featured strongly in weddings over the last few years and it’s continuing to be a strong theme; a few brides I have spoken to have all expressed an interest in the theme, but have struggled to fit it around their own personal taste – hence this shoot, which shows how the vintage theme can be adapted in your bridal look.
We also wanted to showcase the talent of the Lancashire Women in Business, so have used businesses owned by ladies, to show how local suppliers can work together to help you create your perfect wedding.
Finally, it was also important to me, as a mixed race female photographer, to have a bridal shoot with a sense of diversity in regards to size and ethnicity as it’s rare to see women of different ethnicity or those larger than a size 10 in styled bridal shoots.
I hope you enjoy the results.
