To celebrate the launch of Love In Lace in Chiddingstone, Kent, owner Claire Martin-Quirk organised a styled shoot to demonstrate the bridal boutique's array of designer wedding dresses. Here, Claire takes us behind the scenes...
Inspiration and location
Our first styled shoot was all about reflecting Love in Lace as a business. We wanted to keep the imagery light and bright to fit in perfectly with our sparkly new interiors. As well as capturing some beautiful outfits within our studio, we spent much of the day outside in the surrounding countryside that inspires us and is home to Love in Lace.
The rolling fields, industrial barns and peaceful lakes were the perfect backdrop to our bohemian and modern bridal looks, created from a number of dresses and bridal separates from our boutique.

Looks
Every outfit worn by our models was hand-picked by us from a range of local and international designers. Love in Lace is the ideal destination for a style conscious bride-to-be who wants to express herself through what she wears on her wedding day.
Obsessed with detail, we focused in on aspects of the outfits that we love. For example, the low embellished back on our Modeca dress, or the delicate lace and nude underlay of our Vagabond gown.

Accessories
Looks were accessorised using a mixture of fashion forward jewellery and veils, such as our blue veil for our daring brides and the pearl embellished veil that adds texture to a simple and chic outfit.
We also styled multiple looks with our greenery crowns, complementing the countryside and bohemian feel. Eucalyptus and pampas bouquets with delicate pink roses tied in perfectly with our boutique interiors and looked amazing alongside props we used on the shoot such as the peacock wicker chair, and Persian rugs.

Hair and make-up
Hair and make-up were flawless but kept as natural as possible, in-keeping with the relaxed look and feel of the day. Tumbling loose curls and make-up in golden tones was the brief, and the sunlight on the fresh winter's day enhanced this perfectly.
