BGT singer Wayne Woodward brings the love to Bride: The Wedding Show at Colchester
30 Jun 2016
Britiain's Got Talent singer Wayne Woodward is set to appear at Bride: The Wedding Show at Colchester, Essex in November. And you might even be able to book him for your big day…
Wayne Woodward, the singer who charmed the Britain’s Got Talent judges and millions of this year’s voters, will be serenading brides-to-be at the new Bride: The Wedding Show at the Crowne Plaza Resort Five Lakes in Colchester, on November 5th and 6th.
The performance is the first time Wayne has appeared at a major wedding show and organiser Archant Bride arranged the engagement after realising he would be the perfect match for the event, where love is definitely in the air.
The 21-year-old who came runner-up in the competition after winning over Amanda Holden and the rest of the BGT panel at his first audition with his version of The Way You Look Tonight, will perform at the show three times on each day.
Wayne said: “I love singing at weddings. My playlist is full of songs from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole… – all classy love songs. I like to put on my tux and walk around the audience as I am doing my set and singing to everyone.”
Wayne will perform in the show café twice on each day – morning and afternoon – and then on the stage at around 2pm, just before the 2.45pm catwalks.
Show organiser Diana Sims said: “We are thrilled to announce Wayne’s performances at Bride: The Wedding Show at the Crowne Plaza Resort Five Lakes in Colchester. As soon as the results were announced we approached him as his music is perfect for an audience of visitors who have love on their mind."
Bride: The Wedding Show on Saturday and Sunday November 5th and 6th, 2016, from 10am to 4pm at the Crowne Plaza Resort Five Lakes in Colchester is sponsored by The Wedding Ring Gallery.
The show will host nearly 100 of the region’s finest wedding suppliers and is Essex’s must-go event for couples planning a wedding. Free copies of the new issue of Essex Bride magazine will be handed out to brides-to-be and there will be entertainment, great food, a champagne bar and show-exclusive discounts, offers and competitions.
