The inspiration:
I wanted to create an inspirational autumn vibe for brides. Choosing oranges, browns and reds to complement this time of year, I wanted to show how beautiful glowing make-up can look.
I also wanted to portray an effortless and glowing autumn wedding, with a carefree, relaxed atmosphere while showing the fun and loving side to a wedding shoot. I wanted the bride and groom to be natural and relaxed while showing off all the fabulous elements wihtin the shoot.
The venue:
I chose Blackstock Country Estate because of the beautiful land around it. It is filled with views to die for and was the perfect location to complement the theme.
The flowers:
The flower choice was a collaboration between myself and Chirpee Flowers. We discussed an autumn style and the colours we wanted to include to really help all the elements stand out. They provided the most stunning bouquet and flower crown laced with gold leaves, red and yellow flowers and beautiful foliage.
The décor:
One of my favourite images is the bride looking stunning but wearing wellington boots. It is relatable and ties in the English countryside autumn wedding theme perfectly.
The accessories:
I decided to keep it quite simple with regards to accessories. We had a stunning dress, a bouquet, a flower crown, hair and make-up galore. I didn’t feel the need to go overboard with many accessories. The elements spoke for themselves and I’m thrilled with the final images.
