Teaming up with Suzuki, Ant and Dec surprised bride, Charlotte Astle, by turning up at her parents' house and chauffeuring her to her wedding ceremony
As a huge fan of Geordie duo Ant and Dec, Charlotte Astle was dumbstruck when the TV hosts turned up at her parents' house on the morning of her wedding day.
Working with Suzuki and ITN Productions, Charlotte's now-husband, Andy, arranged for the surprise visit to chauffeur Charlotte to the church in a brand new Suzuki Vitara.
Charlotte, a dance teacher from Derby, even delighted her students by dropping by at her dance school with Ant and Dec while en route to the ceremony.
The surprise will launch Suzuki’s latest advertising campaign, which will air from 27th August until 8th October 2016.
Charlotte said: “Having Ant and Dec surprise me on my wedding day really was a dream come true. My reaction to the surprise was such a blur, that I’m lucky it was captured on film. The drive to the church in the Suzuki Vitara with the boys and my dad was hilarious. Ant and Dec were just as lovely and down to earth as I imagined.”
Charlotte and Andy are now happily married following their wedding day in Derby which was attended by more than 100 guests, including eight bridesmaids, a maid of honour, two page boys, two flowers girls and two best men.
