Bold, statement colours allow you to stand out from the crowd, but if these solid, bright tones aren’t attention grabbing enough, ditch them in favour of some print. Garden prints are super stylish for 2011, and the bigger the better.

A-lines and full skirts have made way for clean lines, so incorporating pencil skirts into gorgeous dresses has become very popular. Chic cropped jackets add curves, while subtly padded shoulders and floral corsages add a real feminine touch. Continuing the trend of last season, statement ruffles bring an outfit to life, and full-length maxi dresses bring a sense of timeless glamour.

Trends in wedding guest attire change constantly, yet certain fashions transcend the seasons and the years.
