Flower crowns featured on no fewer than six of our ten Bride magazines last year – making wearing flowers in your hair the key thing to do this wedding season. With wedding themes still echoing the rustic, vintage theme this is a trend that is set to continue into 2015.
Gypsy Rose Vintage is a Cheshire-based company that boasts a unique and quirky vintage inspired range of floral wedding accessories, lovingly hand-crafted.
To showcase the new collection Rebecca Kwaitkowski put together a photoshoot – she explains her inspiration:
“The inspiration behind this shoot was based on the theme ‘a true English rose’,” she says. “The models hair was styled into soft loose curls, a 1930s inspired bob and bohemian fishtail plait and make-up was kept natural for a flawless finish.
“We chose to shoot outside in the English countryside against a rustic barn backdrop and in the studio for a warm boudoir feel. The headpieces featured in this shoot can cater to any bride’s vision, from a delicate garland of ivory gypsophila tied with an ivory satin ribbon – perfect for a rustic vintage barn wedding, to a statement velvet peony Alice band – perfect for a glamorous castle venue.”
