Sophia Regan from Regan Creative takes us behind the scenes of her 1950s vintage themed bridal shoot at Heavens Above Bridal Boutique.
What was the inspiration behind the shoot?
The inspiration behind the shoot was the 1950s vintage glamour.
Tell us a little bit about the venue and why it was chosen.
The Venue is in the Heavens Above Bridal Boutique, Ossett. The rooms have incredible natural lighting and the décor was a perfect backdrop.
What did you choose for the flower arrangements?
I chose some simple off white roses with subtle pinks and greenery and they were arranged by Busy Blooms Florists who finished them perfectly with a hessian wrap detail and pins.
What kind of look did you want to achieve with the make-up, hair and outfits?
I wanted to create a vintage, chic style: simple and elegant.
What was the thinking behind the décor for the shoot?
I chose simple, elegant ivories and subtle pinks, with beautiful fresh greens.
How did you tie it all together?
The hair by Uber Rooms and Pheather Sue accessories complemented the dresses perfectly and the Bouquet by Busy Blooms tied it all together.
What kind of accessories were used to create these looks and why?
I used Pheather Sue fascinators and bridal brooches which are handmade by me. I also used a veil from Heavens Above.
