What was the inspiration behind the shoot?
A romantic look was our main inspiration; very soft and simple looking. The outside setting with just green and fields made it natural and dreamy.
Tell us a little bit about the venue and why it was chosen.
Singleton Lodge in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, is a local country house venue with gorgeous gardens, perfect for the setting we were after.
What did you choose for the flower arrangements?
A pink peony bouquet was just simple and elegant and showcases this very popular trend. We also used other bouquets for some different looks, including an arrangement of white roses.
What kind of look did you want to achieve with the make-up, hair and outfits for the bride?
The make-up look was natural with a soft pink lip, a pearly effect on the eyes with enough to define and draw your attention to them, and, of course, flawless skin - every bride's dream. Hair was down and natural with a gorgeous curl and wave. Dresses were provided by The Ivory Dressing Room.
What kind of accessories were used to create these looks and why?
Again, with the shoot being very simple and elegant, not many accessories were used just pearl earrings from The Ivory Dressing Room.
