A marriage made in heaven

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly has announced a new and unique partnership with its neighbour St James’ Church for brides and grooms.

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, the prestigious West End home of BAFTA, is proud to announce a new and unique partnership with its neighbour St. James’s Church. The picturesque church gardens will be available for exclusive BAFTA 195 Piccadilly pre-dinner wedding receptions, adding to 195’s existing status as one of London’s most unique wedding venues.

The Church was built in the 17th Century by Sir Christopher Wren, and can host up to 150 people in its picturesque gardens. Situated in a beautiful corner of Mayfair adjacent to historic Jermyn Street, it’s the perfect location for those looking to inject a sprinkling of West End glamour into their special day.

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly is already established as a glamorous events space, with its ever-changing gallery of A-list portraits providing a touch of Hollywood glitz guaranteed to wow even the most demanding guests. The new partnership has been agreed for 10 occasions per year, and is available for hire between 6.30 and 9pm on weekdays and 9am to 9pm on weekends.

‘We’re thrilled to be working with St James’,’ says Jenny Bones, Head of Commercial Events at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. ‘The gardens make a wonderful al fresco addition to our existing events space, and will further strengthen 195 as one of the West End’s premiere venues.’

‘We are delighted to be collaborating with BAFTA 195 Piccadilly,’ agrees the Reverend Lucy Winkett. ‘St James’s Church has been at the heart of Piccadilly since 1684 and we want to work closely with our neighbours, offering our gardens to couples to help them celebrate the most important day of their lives.’

The highly dedicated and professional team at BAFTA 195 delivers an exceptional service to all their guests, be they BAFTA members attending one of the many events held at 195 or their much-valued clients, many of whom return year after year. Assessing the customer brief, menu requirements and budget, Head Chef Anton Manganaro and his team design bespoke menus ensuring the highest quality, on-trend cuisine that exceeds clients’ expectations.
