Once you have accepted your invitation to the wedding and picked out the perfect outfit, you then need to consider how you should style your hair to suit the occasion. Below are five wedding guest hairstyles that are easy enough to do yourself.

Chignon
A chignon or a low bun is ideal to pair with hats and fascinators. This hairstyle can elevate your look, as it gives a romantic, chic feel.
There is a plethora of ways to create a chignon but the easiest is to gather your hair together, twist the length a few times, then wrap it in a circle at the nape of your neck and secure with hair pins. Have a few strands pulled out at the front to frame your face.

Beachy waves
Beachy waves can be simple to do and the result is an effortless hairstyle, suitable for any hair length. With this hairstyle, you can also include hair accessories if you want to pin your hair away from your face.
To achieve these waves easily with no heat involved, plait your hair after showering and leave in braids or one long braid overnight, depending on your preferred wave style. In the morning, take the braids out and brush out with your hairbrush or fingers for the desired look. If you’re unsure how this hairstyle will turn out on your hair, experiment a couple of weeks before the wedding to ensure you have the perfect look on the day.
For thicker hair types, make sure to use plenty of hairspray to keep your waves from dropping out throughout the day.

Braid crown
The best part of this longer hairstyle is its versatility; incorporate it with a bun, or consider pairing it with loose waves for a bohemian, relaxed feel. Leave your hair unwashed as it makes it easier for the braids to hold and minimises fly-away hairs. If you have thinner hair, pull apart the braids slightly when finished to make your hair and braids appear thicker.

Leave it straight
Straightening your hair can create a chic and sleek hairstyle to go with a more formal wedding affair. You could even accessorise your hair with some bedazzled clips or an elegant hair piece. This hairstyle tends to suit shorter hair lengths such as bob or a long bob.

Half-up, half-down
A half-up, half-down style is not only easy to achieve but gives you the option to accessorise with dainty clips and sparkling hair pieces. You can also incorporate different braids into this hairstyle, softening your face, or opt for a small bun on the top of your head for a more modern look. This hairstyle can easily be adapted to suit a wide variety of hair lengths.
