EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards category: Hair and Beauty Stylist of the Year

What geographic area does your business cover? Norwich, Norfolk and surrounding counties.

What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? Elizabeths The Florist was established in 1948. We offer top quality flowers from our locally owned nursery and dutch suppliers. We have specialist wedding consultants who will spend time with every bride to ascertain her full floral requirements and produce individual bespoke designs.

How long has your business been running? We are almost 70 years old and still owned by the same family.

Why are you sponsoring the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? I (Kevin Plumstead, proprietor of Elizabeths The Florists) have been in the wedding industry for over 30 years, seeing many different trends and fashions through many different wedding suppliers. I feel that by sponsoring this award I am giving a little back to an industry that I have enjoyed for so long.

What advice would you give to a business entering your category? Our advice to any business would be to stick to good old fashioned traditional values, quality of service, attention to detail, keeping up with modern and contemporary themes and use their natural flare and desire that any business owner needs.

Why should a couple nominate one of their wedding suppliers in your category? I think that a business should be nominated if a couple believes that their supplier went the extra mile to make their day as special as they could possibly could.
