EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards category: Best Customer Service

What geographic area does your business cover? Smith & Pinching is based in Norwich but has clients all over the UK. We also have a branch office in Holt and advisers based in Suffolk and the Midlands.

What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? Smith & Pinching is a well-known name in East Anglia and it is now one of the largest firms offering financial advice to individuals and businesses in the area. Professional excellence is a key component of the S&P service, coupled with a friendly, caring approach and a can-do attitude. We believe in putting the client first and building long-term trusted relationships with clients to ensure that their financial well-being is nurtured and protected. Smith & Pinching was one of the first firms in the area to be awarded the coveted Chartered Financial Planners designation by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This is the UK’s gold standard qualification for professional financial planners. There are still only a handful of firms across the East of England who have attained this status.

How long has your business been running? 43 years

Why are you sponsoring the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? We are keen to hear of suppliers that stand out from the crowd and who have made a real difference.

Why should a business enter your category? To become recognised as a company offering an exceptional customer experience. Having someone go that extra mile will help brides organise one of the most important days in their lives.

What advice would you give to a business entering your category? We are looking for suppliers who offer an outstanding service.

Why should a couple nominate one of their wedding suppliers in your category? The Wedding Awards are an ideal forum to showcase a wedding supplier who has made a special effort and gone out of their way to help.  Being recognised as someone who has gone that extra mile will be seen as the biggest compliment.
