1. Don't Tell the Bride
Continuing to prove a hit since its first episode launched in November, 2007, Don't Tell the Bride has offered us a myriad of magical moments and mishaps over the years. Willing the groom to do well, the audience are always behind the star of the show and never more so than when he manages to execute a spectacular wedding set-up. And that's just what groom, Steve, did for the 2015 Christmas special.
2. The Undateables
Never failing to tug on the heartstrings, The Undateables is an uplifting watch every time. That's why the first Undateables proposal was such a crowd-pleaser - showcasing that absolutely anyone can find love... sometimes in the most unexpected of places.
3. Married at First Sight UK
This programme courted some controversy when it first aired, but it made for great viewing. One of our favourite episodes featured Caroline and Adam who have sadly since divorced.
4. Darling Buds of May
The union of Mariette and Charlie was truly 'perfick' and the moment when 'Pop' Larkin set eyes on his beautiful daughter bride will forever be a tearjerker.
5. Say Yes to the Dress
Across the pond, there have been countless entertaining episodes of Say Yes to the Dress. One such episode featured Katie, a daddy's girl, who allowed her pushy father to accompany her during her dress search.
6. Blind Date
The original dating programme was a Saturday night fixture in most UK households and when news of the first Blind Date wedding broke, the Great British public were overjoyed. The wonderful Cilla Black was finally able to buy her hat and, lucky for us, the big day was televised for the nation to see.
7. Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway
While the wedding was made official a few hours before, Ant and Dec surprised the friends and family of newly married couple, Sam and Michelle, by hosting their wedding celebration live on air.
8. Neighbours: Kylie and Jason
Before it migrated to Channel 5, Neighbours was a much-loved and much-watched soap opera with gripping storylines and a bevy of colourful characters. It was also the show where Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan found love both on-screen and off-screen; THE golden couple to come out of Oz.
9. Eastenders: Kat and Alfie
It was a great Christmas when Eastenders favourites, Kat and Alfie, got married - despite the twists and turns that preceded and followed. And where better to host the grand affair than the dazzling confines of the Queen Vic?
10. The Royal Weddings
Who doesn't love a royal wedding? From Wills and Kate to Harry and Meghan, not to mention the more distant nuptials of Princess Diana and Charles and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, a royal wedding serves to unify a nation.
