10 Fairytale Wedding Gowns

04 Jan 2016

Prepare to feel like a Disney princess with these 10 wedding dresses that will have any bride looking like they’ve just stepped out of a fairytale…

1. The Savannah

The Savannah tulle and lace ball gown designed by Ian Stuart is made with Olympia taffeta and features a glistening sequinned under-layer for a bride who will shimmer as she glides down the aisle. Not one for understated brides.

2. Tiered tulle

A sweetheart neckline, tiered tulle layers and lace appliqués make this a magical wedding gown fit for a princess. Justin Alexander clearly had fairytales in mind while designing this ‘8823’ dress for his spring/summer 2016 collection. Comes with a chapel train.

3. The Willow

Naomi Neoh’s Willow dress featuring floaty fabric, lace sleeves and a floral waistband is from the 2016 Summer’s Eve Collection. The range stems from the ‘enchanting and wild beauty of the English countryside and the delicate dwindling sunlight of a summer’s evening’, according to the brand. We don’t know what sounds more romantic than that…

4. Flora skirted gown

With Berta having just announced its revealing spring/summer 2016 wedding dress collection, we couldn’t leave out this dress with feminine spaghetti straps and voluminous floral skirt. Sure to have a bride looking like she’s just emerged from a magical secret garden.

5. Sweet Madness

The name says it all. The sequinned lace bodice and soft cloud-like tulle skirt by Ian Stuart is so Disney princess.

6. The Primrose

Feminine, lace, capped sleeves give this dress dainty elegance, as does the subtle dropped waist and figure-cinching belt. A full-skirted wonder just waiting to be part of a romantic love story.

7. The Lucianna

This demure Lucianna design by Sassi Holford is hand made in England. Definitely one for a bride set to be the belle of the ball. We love the simple styling and ballerina-esque detailed bodice.

8. The Montgomery

Maggie Sottero has nailed it with this divine Montgomery dress complete with Bardot style neckline, Swarovski crystal belt and illusion lace back.

9. Fallen angel

Talk about looking like a fallen angel. This Berta masterpiece and its dreamy cape is heavenly for ethereal brides starring in a tale of romance at the altar.

10. The Emma

The classic fairytale wedding just got a 2016 update. Perfectly plain with a raised skirt at the front and pockets, this structured Sassi Holford wedding dress does all the talking.
