Up and down the country, many people will enjoy a taste of Norfolk when they sit down for their Christmas dinner.

Tucked away in the rural heart of north Norfolk, Morton’s Family Farm rears free-range bronze and black/bronze turkeys. It was founded in the 1940s when George Morton Snr (known as Papa) swapped the Scottish hills for Norfolk’s big fields, where he kept a small dairy herd and grew alternative crops such as broad beans and vining peas. In 1998, the farm, which is now run by the third generation of the family, started to specialise in free-range poultry and grass-fed meats. Only a small number of birds are reared each year, fed on a cereal-based diet and reared slowly to maturity.

We're delighted to give Norfolk magazine readers the chance to win one of Morton's Family Farm's award-winning bronze turkeys, delivered to your door in time for Christmas Day.

On offer is a small free range bronze turkey, approximately size 5.3-6.3kg, enough to feed a family of 9-11, worth £113.50.

The turkey comes all ready with cooking instructions and a curry kit for any Boxing Day leftovers you may have. It will be delivered in an insulated box to your door on Friday, December 22.
