Sahar Millinery will be offering a millinery workshop on Saturday, 11th March from 10am-1pm, followed by a vintage style Mad Hatter's Tea Party from 1pm-2pm.
In the millinery workshop you will learn how to use sinamay, the most commonly used material for wedding hats. Sahar will teach you how to sculpt this into flowers, manipulate feathers and attach birdcage veiling and other trinkets to your creations. Each participant will leave with their own fascinator.
If you have something special e.g. a brooch or piece of fabric, do bring it along and see if you can incorporate into your hat, and also, if you have an outfit in mind to match your hat with, feel free to bring it along too.
Afterwards you can then enjoy a vintage style Mad Hatter's Tea Party and indulge in afternoon tea with fresh cakes and treats, while wearing your own creations.
No experience necessary. Millinery workshop is £50 and Mad Hatter's Tea Party is £15; a ticket for both is £65. Limited spaces, booking essential.Get tickets »
