1. Literary greats
The Alice collection from Bea and Bloom is inspired by the stories and characters in Alice in Wonderland. Featuring cupcakes, magical keys, Queen of Hearts, flamingos and more, the design is available across a wide range of products including invitations, RSVPs, menus and table plans. Colours can all be changed free of charge to ensure your stationery matches your theme perfectly.
Other stationery ideas inspired by literary masterpieces include Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.
'Captain' from Rose and Beau is based on many summers spent by the sea and wanting a beach wedding. Mixing fonts offers a slightly more rustic feel, basing it upon all the different lettering on boats in a harbour. The design can be changed in colour to fit your theme, and Rose and Beau offers matching on-the-day stationery too.
Retro Press created this is bespoke wedding invitation for a couple getting married on a cruise, with the ticket-styled theme running throughout. Luggage tag labels were included for the guests and the custom-made wallets were great for containing all the relevant information.
A classic Disney fairytale. Who didn't dream of their happily ever after while watching Beauty and the Beast? RAW Invites customers Chandni and Shyam were both massive fans of this movie and finally got their happily ever after, so much so that they decided on having a Beauty and the Beast theme throughout their whole wedding. To mix it up and make it really personal, they decided to change 'Beauty and the Beast' to their names and have it as the focal point at the front. An artistically sketched style inside delivered a classical and original feel.
Looking for a stationery suite with a vintage twist? Add colour and charisma to Kraft paper like this 'Vintage Button' design from Two Little Ducks Design Studio. This vintage suite has been designed with a modern makeover by adding a splash of colourful buttons. Inspired by the vintage trend including twine, brown kraft, burlap textures and typewriter fonts, the stationery features a soft script in the background which can include personalised words suited to the couple themselves. The order of the day makes a fun insert and the collection can be rolled out across on-the-day elements and post-wedding stationery such as thank you cards. For couples who love the vintage style but are having a more muted theme, the colours can be revised to better reflect your day.
This 'Campervan' stationery design from Tree of Hearts was inspired by the fun and excitement of travel. It's designed for couples who love the open road with the design featuring a cute campervan, which comes in a variety of colours to suit any wedding palette. Campers are a popular feature at weddings, and this design is a creative way to further incorporate them into the day. The number plate is personalised with the couple’s initials and the bright colours capture the magic of a sunny day, holding the promise of an adventure waiting to happen.
Sweet yet stylish, this Map & Kraft wedding bundle from Norma & Dorothy is ideally suited to destination weddings. The main card features the world map background that is the staple of Norma & Dorothy's Travel Collection, upon which your names and wedding details are printed in a wonderful blended typography, punctuated by bright red love-hearts. They are enclosed by red and blue borders, their colours and style reminiscent of vintage travel tickets.
6. Art Deco/ Great Gatsby
This opulent invitation design really sets the scene for a 1920’s themed wedding. Created by Ginger is the New Black using art deco patterns and some extra decorative touches, the stationery is topped off with gold, glittery belly bands emblazoned with the couple’s names to tie the set together.
Similarly, this design from RAW Invites was inspired by the architecture and art from the 1920s. The couple absolutely loved all the bold angular lines, the amazing patterns and level of detail that were found in this era. Elegant and timeless but still representative of a spring wedding (for which this set was designed), a palette of cream and gold instead of the typical black and gold was selected. To capture the architecture, the front of the invitation was inspired by beautiful gates reminiscent of the 1920s to evoke the sense that guests were opening the gates of the couple's wedding.
Harness your wedding season with stationery that reflects the time of year. Opt for pretty pastels for spring/summer celebrations, white and silver for winter, or rich coppers and burnt oranges for autumn.
It's not everyday the groom gets to be in charge of their wedding invitations and this RAW Invites groom took the reins on this design. The biggest superhero fan going, the groom chose a quirky comic book layout with the couple's timeline of events laid out as a story for their guests to read. The bride was a DC fan and he was a Marvel fan so all the superheroes were incorporated in to the design.
This bespoke save the date design was created for a Disney and superhero themed wedding by Ginger is the New Black. Using a playful, comic book look and feel, teamed with bright colours and well-known characters to combine the two very different genres together, the stationery was printed on a beautiful textured paper stock.

A lovingly hand-crafted band holds the wedding invitation together, and is finished with a scattering of delicate copper gems for a rustic luxe effect.
This gorgeous wedding invitation set from Ginger is the New Black was created for a rustic barn wedding in the country.
