What geographic area does your business cover? East Anglia, UK and abroad.

How long has your business been running? Five years

What does your business do? How does it stand out from the competition? I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Norfolk, but my work takes me right across the world. I believe you need to connect with your photographer. You should fall in love with their work and style instinctively and feel able to trust their advice and judgement. Your photographer will be spending the majority of their time with you and your family on your wedding day and you want to make sure you feel at ease so they can truly capture natural images.

I have a genuine interest in people and strive to build relationships with all my clients, many of which I remain friends with today. I have a respectful, friendly and unobtrusive approach to photography, only providing the gentlest direction when needed during the day. Commonly, I will hear from my clients how surprised they were that they felt so at ease infront of the camera, and how I blended seamlessly into the day. This comes down to finding the right photographer for you… its not just about technical skill, its finding someone you can relate to, relax with, and allow your personality to shine. This is what makes your photographs unique.

Why did you enter the 2017 EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards? I know that EDP Bride is a trusted source that many brides turn to for wedding ideas, advice and also to start their search for wedding vendors and suppliers. Entering and possibly winning would be a major stamp of approval for my business, and in turn gain the trust of brides by means of association with such an established and well known entity.

What was your reaction to the announcement of your business as a finalist? Surprised! I missed the email earlier in the day informing me that I was a finalist, so when a bride sent me a message on Facebook to congratulate me I was firstly confused, then disbelief quickly turned to delight.

What are you most looking forward to at the EDP Bride: The Wedding Awards ceremony on 27th January, 2017, at Dunston Hall? Getting dressed up, like most girls are? No, in all seriousness, I look forward to meeting and networking with some fantastic wedding industry suppliers and also naturally keeping fingers and toes crossed that I win the award.
